The Photographer’s Locs

by Mona-Lisa on July 25, 2011

Hey Everyone! Hope you’re having an awesome Monday. Today I’m featuring one of my male clients Lloyd, he opted for permanent loc extensions and they flattered him wonderfully. Great way to skip the awkward stage!

Take a look and enjoy! Lemme know what you think ;) Have a happy fulfilled day!

Hey Amina! You don’t have to trim off the hair if you don’t want to, it will function just like natural locs if you leave it in. This was actually accomplished using human hair by the way….

Hey Charlie! I totally understand, you want well manicured professional locs for work. I e-mailed you back. Look forward to hooking you up when you have 2 inches of hair! :)

Your work is absolutely astonishing, my only question is after having them done would you still go about your original routine of retesting and washing your locs the same way??? And which works best for styling, human or synthetic hair if you already have a short set of locs???

Yes you continue to retwist as normal after getting these in, if you want to keep them in permanently. If you already have short locs then I would go with human hair for continuity’s sake. If you’re interested in having this done, feel free to e-mail me at LovelyLocs@BlackMasterPiece.com

All the best. ;)

Hi I’m Brooklyn! I’m 16 and I’ve doing yarn braids in my hair for a long time and I love the look so I decided that I want to do real locs the problem is I live in bellingham Washington which doesnt have any black salons ( it’s literally the whitest town ever). I was woundering if you could explain or give me some tips so I can do this on my own :) thanks!
