Paging Doctor Curly!

by Mona-Lisa on November 29, 2010

Hey yall! These are a set of gorgeous curly crochets done on a lady doctor client who wanted a protective style that looked like her natural curly texture. She seems plucked out of a medical drama….she’s so darn pretty! Beauty, Brains and a fellow Haitian! It was a pleasure to meet her and the result blew even me away. This was done with freetress water wave hair in color 1b/2.

Let me know what you think!

*If you’re interested in getting this protective style done, e-mail me at CurlyQue@BlackMasterPiece.com for more information *

Hey girl, how many packs of hair did you use for this? Do you cut it in half? I wish I was close enough for you to hook me up! Baby is due in 3 weeks and I need a low/no maintenance style so I’m going to do my best to replicate this look! Wish me luck!

Hey love! Congrats on the newest bundle of joy! Yes I cut each clump in half at an angle, We used about 2 packs, possibly 2 and some change. Best of luck to you!

/\ Isnt she though? Thats the same thing I thought to myself when she came in for her appointment. She’s just like one of those tv medical drama doctor’s that we think look unrealistically good lol

Hi, This is beautiful… What happens when this type of hair gets wet? I’m going on vacation and I am looking for a “natural” weave/protective style to rock… However, it is important that I can get in the water!!! Please help me…

This is by far the best website I’ve come across featuring crochet braids. Your work is simply amazing!

Hi, you look so pretty with your hair. What if my hair is straight and i want them to be like that. Is the process long?

Thanks, this is actually a client of mine, not me. On straight hair I’d just do a spiral rod set to achieve a similar result.
